File Transfer
To
ensure that your information remains secure, we request that you send your
files to us using a commonly available encrypted file format. We recommend
WinZip for this purpose. WinZip is a product of Nico Mak Computing, Inc. and
can be downloaded at no cost from their web site at winzip.com.While
it is not required to send your files encrypted, it is highly desirable. If
you have any questions about how to use WinZip or about the file transfer
process, please send an e-mail to our webmaster at alkalinegraphics or contact us directly.

WinZip software, create a zip file containing your files. Use a password when

Attach your zip file to an e-mail and send it to us at tassiandcompany.com.
Call or fax us to let us know that a file has been sent and the password you
used to create the zip file. Please do not send the password via
e-mail.

Instructions:
How to create a zip file - For Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, XP and
NT computers.If
you don't have WinZip on your computer, download it from winzip.com and install it on your system. When installing the software you will be prompted
to select the type of interface. Choose "WinZip Classic".
Click on the Windows Start button and select WinZip. The software will launch
and may prompt you to click on a button to accept their evaluation agreement.
Follow the instructions on the screen to continue.
Click on the "New" button.
A file selection window will pop-up. This is where you will enter the name
of the zip file you will be creating. Type in a name for the file. If you'd
like, you can also change the directory where the file is located. Make a
note of the directory and file name (you'll need them later) and click on
the "OK" button.
Click on the "Options" menu, and select "Password".
A password entry window will pop-up. Type in a password that you will use
to protect the file. Click on "OK". Type in your password again,
when asked to re-enter your password (it's to ensure there are no typos). Make a note of the password and click on the "OK"
button.
Click on the "Add" button.
A file add window will pop-up. Locate the directory where the files you wish
to send reside. Once there, click on the name of the file you wish to add
to highlight it. If you have more than one file, press and hold down the Control
key while clicking on the names of each of the files. Click the "Add"
button.
WinZip will then add your files to the zip file you created. Depending on
the speed of your computer, and the size and number of files you are adding
, it could take a minute or two for WinZip to complete processing. When it's
done, your files will show up in the WinZip main window, listed in the order
they were added.
Close the window, and you're done with this step!
